• 23/8/24The fried egg rolls (cha gio) and grilled pork vermicelli (bun) with added fried egg roll on top were outstanding! Flavors were excellent, and the ingredients were fresh and well prepared! My only request is that lettuce leaves be included with the eggs rolls to wrap them up with the daikon, carrot and cucumber like a little burrito. Fast delivery, will definitely order again!!!

• 10/7/26Fresh rolls were great - probably best I've ever had. Wonton soup with dumplings was good but dumplings were ice cold and had to be heated up since they are meant to go in the soup but arrived in separate container. Short ribs were awful, way too salty and filled with bones and grizzle, could not finish for fear of cracking my teeth! Just not worth the effort and too expensive. Grilled pork with vermicelli wasn't bad, but had more flavorful pork at literally every other Vietnamese restaurant I've ever eaten in. Not sure why this place gets such good reviews. Vietnamese is my favorite food and I've had much better meals all over Pinellas and Hillsborough counties, including some real dives that I initially wanted to turn around and leave.

• 31/7/23Beef was bland. Good portion size so I'll be able to reheat it in my wok with the right seasonings and sauce. Fresh Rolls were put together well but the peanut sauce was disgusting. I've had better of both dishes at cheaper prices elsewhere.

• 2/7/26The Short Ribs are very tough. Good flavor but I would not waste my money on it. The pork is more tender and has the same flavor. After eating a few of the short ribs I had to stop because I just got entirely too much tough meat stuck between my teeth.

• 26/9/23This was my first order from Saigon Bowl, and while it wasn’t quite what I liked, I would try other items on the menu. The House special fried rice is a meat combo fried rice. The shrimp had the tails still on, I found some sausage bites very gristle laden, and the chicken was dry. This made me just push the protein to the side, the rice was very good though with nice seasoning.
If you are expecting fried egg rolls that you typically receive at a Chinese place; don’t order these. They were very dense - more like a tightly rolled beef tamale.
The soup comes with a little “assembly required”. The broth and meat are in one canister. The noodles, lime wedge, basil and other vegetables come in a separate container. I really liked this- separate veggies and broth as well as the taste!
So, 4 stars instead of 5 but I would give them another try based on the soup alone.
