On everything, this is closest thing to Jersey pizza and reminding me of home. Been looking for a real contender the pizza game down here in the south and THIS IS IT. crust is perfectly crisped. Evenly distributed toppings and sauce. Just overall good pizza and Italian food.

i've had almost every pizza in nashville - from super expensive artisan slices to the super cheap and reliable. but sal's is the BEST pizza in nashville. there's a reason it's been here since 1996. if you like new york style pizza, this is the best. everything about it. freshest ingredients, and the pizza is always stretched to the right size.

Outstanding sauce. As good as any Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at, including the ones in little Italy and on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. I keep ordering the baked ziti because it's so good. My wife has ordered other things that she says are just as good. We have to try the pizza sometime.

The Tiramisu for $8.00 came in a little plastic container. It is not homemade, it was pre made! The Marinara sauce is very sweet and eggplant Parmesan is soggy and just doesn't taste good! Very disappointing.

Am a native New Yorker who has lived in cities in the Midwest, West Coast and now the South. Each area offered NY style pizza. So far in the Nashville area, Sal's Pizza is the most authentic and best NY style pizza I have eaten. Highlly recommend.
