• 1/7/26Shalimar is my all time favorite restaurant; great prices and even better food -- they have the best nihari, the best kebab (beef) and best chicken tandoori; naan is always fresh and fluffy. Overall truly can never go wrong with this place

• 12/2/26Some of the very best Indian or Pakistani food in SF. I am particularly fond of the Palak Paneer. Spicy, with large chunks of slightly soft paneer. Made and served in a traditional way, rather than with slick restaurant type presentation.

• 30/4/24My absolute go-to for desi cravings when I'm not in the mood to cook! This restaurant never disappoints and is always reliable. The Seek Kababs are an absolute must-try; they never fail to satisfy! Highly recommend.

• 31/7/24Naan was extremely dry. Goat was full of fat and not cooked thoroughly. The cheap rice was used which breaks when you cook 16A. Goat Biryani. 25. Nihari was full of fat and oil. Missing salt and no cilantro or chilies. This was a waste of money.

• 25/11/23The garlic 13. Garlic Naan was very disappointing and had no flavor. The prices are decent but the food was swimming in oil. Both quantity and quality were lacking in the curries.
