dear lord in heaven order the pork pan fried dumplings and spring for the larger order. amazing crisp texture on the bottom and steamed goodness on top. quite large, like shenjiang bao but not broth filled... or maybe they sprung a leak on transit. still, I'm not complaining and I'm ordering them again.

Curry Chicken Steamed Buns - 3*; These are very cumin forward so if you don't like that you will not like these. I like cumin but I didn't like how spicy they were. In addition, the breading was kinda soggy and very fluffy.
Ice Skin Mooncake - 2*; I got the Mungbean (yellow) and Custard (white) as seen from the photos. They both just tasted not fully cooked. The fillings for both were fine.
I did not receive any sauces for the dumplings so these reviews are for without.
Vegan Pan Fried Dumplings - 2*; These were completely flavorless and I will not order again.
Vegetarian Pan Fried Dumplings - 4*; These tasted good even without a dipping sauce. They were crunchy as others had stated but had a nice chew to them.
Chicken Pan Fried Dumplings - 3.5*; These would def be betterwith a dipping sauce but they weren't bad. Some of them had a crunchy bottom.
Overall, the size and quantity of the dumplings is a pretty good value. I would stick to the meat or vegetarian ones. The moon cakes are huge and take up more than half the box. I cut mine in half to be able to show the interior.
I would probably not order from them again but would maybe stop by if I was in the area.

Both sets of vegan and vegetarian dumplings are amazing! The vegan ones are a bit crunchy with the celery and the Vegetarian Pan Fried Dumplings are very big. Arrived steaming hot!

These pan fried dumplings are the BEST! If I could eat them every day, I would. They have a perfectly crispy bottom, the right amount of chewy dough without being overpowering and the fillings are warm and perfectly seasoned and juicy! I highly recommend using the hot chili oil and vinegar that comes with it. It is just the right amount of salty and savory, juicy and crispy, warm and comforting. This is my go-to study food and it is getting me through.

The Vegetarian Pan Fried Dumplings were great. And I loved the use of both sesame & black sesame seeds. Perfect heat levels.
