The Shrimp and Grits With Cornbread was very flavorful, and creamy, just an all-around A+. Chicken Wing Dinner - were definitely cooked well done and that's just the way I like them. The macaroni and cheese HITS EVERYTIME The banana pudding is only sold at the restaurant. I suggest doing a pickup order so you can see their treats that will have you coming back for more.

DISAPPOINTING......Ordered the Combo Dinner, which says it comes with 2 pieces of catfish and it only came with one. The mac n cheese was terrible and wasnt fresh, it tasted/looked a day or two old. The red beans & rice was just okay. The chicken wings were just ok and the catfish was good, but i'll never eat here again.The soul food was NOT up to par.

This food is not good. The Macaroni & Cheese costed $7 but the portion and taste is not worth it. The Shrimp and Grits With Cornbread costed $17 and the grease over take the favor of the dish. So Im not sure if its good or bad but I do know they used plenty of oils to make this. All in all, I will not order from here again.

The Salmon Dinner was much smaller than pictured on the menu (see photo)! The menu pic justified the $28 to me, but compared to my BF’s Pork Chop Dinner in the end, it was very little food. The sides were really yummy (collard greens, mac n cheese, candied yams, black eyed peas).
It didn’t seem like a busy day but our food wasn’t ready for 30 minutes after its original ETA. They also forgot our red beans & rice but we didn’t check until we got home after a 30 min walk (our mistake).

The Ox Tails here are absolutely fantastic, I have never eaten better Ox Tail anywhere else they deserve 10 stars on their own. The favor is authentic, well seasoned and truly soulful!
