WOW this was amazing. We got the dinner for two and the flavors were out of this world. The best I've had. Highly recommend ordering. The quality and quantity is 10/10.

I’m an American girl who grew up in Michigan, where I fell in love with Middle Eastern food long before I married into a Syrian family. Between Michigan’s incredible Arab food scene and years of eating Syrian food both at home and in restaurants, I have a pretty solid idea of what I’m hoping for when I order shawarma.
Sizzle is good for Denver, but Denver desperately needs more honest representation of Middle Eastern food.
The chicken here was flavorful and well browned, but it lacked what I love most about real spit-roasted shawarma: thin shavings with those deeply roasted, crispy edges mixed with juicy meat. The platter was also overwhelmingly rice-forward, with the hummus reduced to a small scoop in the corner. The shawarma-and-hummus plates I grew up eating centered the hummus—shawarma piled directly over a generous plate of it, drizzled with olive oil, ideally with toasted pine nuts, warm pita alongside, and rice as a side rather than the foundation of the meal.
I also ordered the dolma, and while I obviously can’t say how they were prepared, they looked and tasted remarkably like commercially canned dolma. That was disappointing from a Middle Eastern restaurant.
I actually want places like this to succeed. Denver has large and growing Middle Eastern communities, and the food deserves to be represented with the same confidence and care you find in places like Metro Detroit. Don’t adapt it into another generic “Mediterranean rice bowl” because you think that’s what American customers expect. Some of us Americans are here because we want the real thing.
Give me the crispy shawarma. Give me the giant plate of hummus. Hell, charge me for the pine nuts. 😂 I’ll pay for them. Just let Middle Eastern food be Middle Eastern food.

Got the Meat Combo with an extra pita. My girlfriend and I shared the plate. Plenty of food for 2. The order came quick. Very fresh. We both loved theentire meal with a special shout out to the garlic yogurt sauce!

The kebabs were delicious and the chicken was very tender. I could use slightly bigger portions but I'm a big eater. I'll be back.
