If you live in the RGV and never tried breakfast (or any other meal) for Señor Cactus you are seriously missing out! I have tried everything on the menu and it's all so freaking goooood. And the portions are huge! Never actually been inside the restaurant but I order often from DD. I'm a total foodie and sometimes my ADHD will prioritize everything else over feeding myself. But if I order from this place I have no problem dropping everything and eating very very well. I feel like whoever the chef is they really make the food with love and passion and butter 🧈 🤤😆 Cactus Breakfast

I did not received the main dish i ordered which was the botanita breakfast i was looking forward to it :( they only gave me the tiny menudo but the rest of the dish no :'
But i also order sides
I only received my 2 pancakes which are delicious :3
I order 1 taco of barbacoa on the side, that was 10/10
But i DID NOT receive my botanita breakfast.
Im missing the main dish, potatoes, beans, the barbacoa of the plate, …
If i were to receive my entire order this would of been a 5 star :' & then doordash did not want to give me a refund for the missing dish or at least another delivery of my missing dish :'
But the overall packing of this restaurant was secure so i liked that and the bit of sides i got to taste were delicious, so it not so an overall negative experience:)

hands down best tacos in the rgv!! we have so many great taco places but when it come to breakfast sr Cactus got it on lock! it's like your favorite breakfast taco but made by a trained chef. portions are perfect, everything is super fresh. you will feel spoiled when you order here Taco ChicharronBreakfast TacoPrickly Pear Lemonade

had to order 2 this time so my partner can finally try. Best Cactus Breakfast when you need alot of fuel for your day! soooooo goood!!!!

Food quality is overall good although overpriced for the little amount of fajitas placed in the Fajita Tacos. Don't order the Salsa for $2.49, they will give you a tablespoon sized container that they place in all their orders by standard, and say that's what you paid for. 3 stars because it was a really bad experience with customer service. Miscommunication on my order and the woman who answered immediately became defensive and annoyed with me wanting to take back part of my order to exchange it for what I asked for, insisting this was what I ordered saying "I guess" I could come back. Place was empty at 1pm when i walked in to get my order. I asked for the salsa I had ordered that I hadn't received and she gave me another little salsa container.
