Actually incredible. I don't always review after my first order but this was too good to leave it hanging.
I got a Fish Plate Lunch with some French Fries . And it was so much food I needed an hour or longer to eat. I was worried that catfish with rice could soak up some moisture, but the catfish wasn't soggy at all! In fact, the crispy (even crunchy) breading was better than any fried fish I've had lately. A (slightly) spicy, seasoned crispy outside that had a beautiful combination of flavors. Aaa. It was so good y'all. And the shrimp fried rice that came with it was a nice change of pace from typical fast food pairings (I still loved the in crinkle cut fries btw but never had rice with fish; really tasty).
This is an easy 5/5. The only thing that could have been better was the amount of tartar sauce. I only got 1 ramekin for 8 pieces of catfish. Ran out sooner than half way through meal. Tartar sauce isn't currently on the DD menu.
Peak comfort food. Highly recommend!

The fish plate was one of the best values and tasted great. I've noticed the fish is smaller pecies and even fried shrimp rice has been cut down on size.

The best fried chicken and fried rice in Hammond. Massive portions and made to order. I keep coming back here. Love it
