Outstanding flavor profiles, from the tempura to the sushi and from the soups to the noodles. Food is packed intelligently, with the understanding that it will be travelling in a vehicle. Portion sizes are generousnd consistent. Staff is polite and sharp. This has been my go-to for years.

Portions were so small, specifically ginger, chicken. We even paid double for extra vegetables. It was pathetic size probably less than half of a regular order. It tasted good, but it was a pathetic portion size. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

The portions are outrageous for the price. When I order salmon tempura from other restaurants their portions are generous and fitting for the price...NOT here. I ordered a chicken salad and recd a couple pieces of lettuce, 1/2 slice cucumber and one cherry tomato for $15. NEVER again

I ordered a Childs steak teriyaki and it was literally 2 ounces of meat for $1195
For $12 you could eat the entire steak and one bite

We use to love Sushi Yama. The quality of the sushi was terrible! I'm so disappointed we would go this restaurant at least every three weeks. Something has changed there for the worse.
