Taco Express has been such a welcome surprise and has quickly become a regular in our takeout rotation. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Some of our favorites are the burrito bowls, birria tacos, regular tacos (love that they're crunchy!), their take on the Crunchwrap, and the quesadillas.
We also love the "create your own" option, and the portions are a great size. Also, their 2 for 1 specials are a great deal. Taco Express is truly a neighborhood gem. Since they opened, we've completely stopped ordering from the other well-known Tex-Mex spot in town. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out!

We ordered Steak Birria , Chips and Queso, and Churro. All 3 are SOLID. Great value, great portion size. The consume wasn't oily, which I've encountered at other places. The churros come with a caramel dipping sauce (much better than a chocolate sauce IMO) but you could even do without it because the churros have a light caramel layer inside themselves. Great place!

The birria has a kick to it. And the grilled chicken is dark meat.
