• 21/10/23I never comment just put start no matter how good and this place can be hit or miss with the fish.
BUT!!! The Egusi was everything! So good full of flavor large portions. I would recommend you try it if you haven't. The best meal I've ever gotten from any restaurant hands down!

• 13/1/26Had Mellon Sauce (Egusi) last week, craved more today. Full after finishing half. This time, had less palm oil and beef was tough to chew. Pounded Yam had some dry flour/powder not mixed in, but still good. Less fresh on Tuesday compared to Thursday. I like, but think there is room for improvement.

• 8/1/26Mellon Sauce (Egusi): savory, mildly spicy, with pounded yam the portion is more than enough for one person, possibly two. Beef was firm on the outside, but was yielding, rich, and satisfying to chew (easily pinched apart with two fingers). Personally, I would order again with beef instead of assorted meats (but that's just preference).
Meat Pie: one piece, dry, small amount of filling, would not order again
Puff Poff: four pieces, chewy, dense, not too sweet (just right), would order again

• 26/3/26I got the Mellon Sauce (Egusi). They gave me a tiny bit of stew with meat I can't eat. They gave me something I didn't order.. The stew wasn't good and had no flavor. Go to Suya Joint if you want good food.

• 8/11/25Really wanted to like this place. Mellon Sauce (Egusi) and fufu (cassava) was decent. I would get it again if I really craved for it and no other options were available. The portion sizes do not equate to the cost. $100 for all vegetarian dishes minus the chicken and pie is wild - even in this economy. The Peanut Sauce was very fishy - not seafoody - plain fishy. You couldn't taste the peanut. The Pounded Yam was sour. Chicken was covered mostly in oil, not much sauce. Poff Poff was dry and hard in the middle. We ended up tossing majority of the items out sadly. if you're looking to try African food, I would stick to just the fufu (cassava) and egusi with tofu.
