Ordered Thai Joint for a luncheon for a dear friend of ours going thru a rough patch. The food arrived on time and piping hot. Most of all, it was DELICIOUS! We ordered Egg Rolls (2 orders) and Half Moons for appetizers. Main meal: Panang Curry w/tofu & veggies, Pad Thai w/steam Sole Fish, Kai Kra Pow w/Fried Egg, Pineapple Fried Rice w/vegetables and (2) orders of Mango Sticky Rice.
We were given big portions on each of the dishes. We were all so happy with our choices. All dishes were standouts! Thai Joint has become my go to on Adams Ave in Normal Heights!

Drunken Noodles the first sign of trouble was the container, it wasn't the square plastic or cardboard ones, but like a round aluminum one, something you'll see from an Italian place. once I opened the lid it was a very small portion for $18 it wasnt even packed to the sides or to the top, I should have taken a picture.
a side of white rice is recommended
they don't play with their spicy level. most Thai places the spiciness doesn't kick in until 6 or 7. I asked for 7 here and it's like a 10 or an 11 from another place. two bites my eyes were crying. also they were very generous with their bell peppers.
the actual noodles were very delicious 😋
I asked for pork. their pork is more like the pork you'd find at a Chinese place, like red and thin sliced, so that was interesting.
I realize their vibe is more vegetarian so maybe it's all on me.

Favorite Thai place in the area. The Tom Kha is flavorful and warming. The drunken noodles are mouth watering. The rest is great with additions and substitutions. They take allergies seriously. You won't be disappointed.

Favorite pad Thai spot. Delicious, super generous portions. Spicy 2 is pretty reasonable heat. Hot enough to taste, but mild enough you can enjoy the other flavors
Also love their fried Crispy Rolls. Super delicious and withstand a DoorDash.

I am allergic to soy and they were very accommodating for my request! Pad Thai or any Asian noodle dish can be hard to execute without soy and they did it right. Yellow curry was so yummy but a smaller serving than some other places around town. I felt the Tom ka was a little too sweet to my liking but very creamy - great price though!
