• 3/2/22I had a craving for Panang curry and Thai Lao delivered exactly what I was craving. Jasmine sticky rice is the best compliment to Panang Curry but regular rice works too. One order is good for 2-3 servings. I got mine with chicken. So tender and tasty! I'm going to be ordering this again soon!

• 12/2/26We’ve been eating at Thai Lao since 2013, and it’s still one of our go-to spots on the west side. That kind of consistency over 10+ years says everything.
Whether we’re dining in or ordering through DoorDash, the food always hits. Flavors are bold, fresh, and balanced...and the spice is legit. Not “tourist spicy.” Real spicy. If you order Lao style (which I always do), just know the spice level is basically chef’s choice… so be mindful. They don’t play around 😂
Our regular lineup:
– Green Papaya Salad (Lao style is the move)
– BBQ Beef Num Tok (we’re big Num Tok fans)
– Crispy Fried Rice Salad (Nam Khao)
– Green Curry
– Sai Oua
– Sticky rice to round it out
Everything travels well on DoorDash, portions are solid, and it still tastes like it came straight from the kitchen.
If you live here, you probably already know. If you don’t...this is one of those spots that’s worth going in person, but also clutch when you just want it delivered to the house.
Still consistent. Still flavorful. Still our default.

• 19/5/25Would have been nice to have gotten a call from the restaurant that an item was out so that a replacement could have solved the issue of one person in our dinner party not having a meal. Other restaurants do it, be thoughtful and give your customers a call to replace an item or at least the option too instead of just cancelling part of the order. Otherwise, the Spicy Lemongrass Soup (Tom Yum) was super salty tonight, and Panang Curry was fine, and the Larb was straight up too much on it. Just meat flavored like lime, cant even taste the fish sauce or the meat. Makes me think if the meat is spoiled.

• 30/12/21Ordered mild; but got spicy. Pad ki-Mao noodles were stiff hard! But it was flavorful. Not sure how this place got 4.7 on door dash. Green curry was decent. Price point on the expensive end ($16.95 and rice not included at $3.95).
