Hot Mess Melt was plenty of mess. Dry, overcooked beef edges, barely any caramelized onions, and what seems to be one small slice of cheese in the center of one bread slice. Certainly not the "ooey gooey" sandwich I expected.

The fact that I thought I was getting something and then got DENNYS was pretty disappointing... especially because I would've expected the quality of food (dry meat, greasy bread, bland everything) I got from someplace like dennys which is why I don't order from there. The false advertising is so misleading and very disappointing.

I have to say I was a little disappointed, when the food arrived the fries were mixed in with a desert order, who was for someone else. The Hittin' Snooze Melt had no maple spice spread (which made the sandwhich very dry and was like trying to swallow sand or a spoonfulof cinnamon), the chesse barley covers 1/2 of the potato bread. Not to mention this sandwich and food is from Dennys. So the Hittin' Snooze Melt is really the grand slamwhich. I have ordered the Treatin' Myself Melt on Friday and it was delicious, today the pound cake was not butterd and toasted, the cut a piece of cheesecake smashed in between the slices of pound cake (which just fell apart and felt that was appropriate to send to a customer, with like 7-9 slices of strawberries. When iprdered this on friday the pound cake was buttery and toasted, with enuf strawberry slices to create a nice even layer covering the pound cake. I dont know what the point is to advertise as "The Melting Point" which I truly believed was a new place to eat, S I had never heard of it before. I was curious why the food was in a Dennys container, then while reading the receipt, thats where I learned it was actually from Dennys.
