The Ruben was terrible. Very dry, lacking sauce, barely any sauer kraut and the meat was tough and dry. Honest the worst Ruben ive ever had. I was very disappointed. Usually this restaurant is pretty good, but not this $50 order!

Chicken and Chicken & Waffle- w/strips as always delicious. Their chicken strips are fire and their waffles absorb butter and syrup perfectly the order is before 12 lunch time, although every time I've ordered from them anytime after 12 their food is always good and for the most part fresh.

One of the things that I commend this diner on is there packaging not only is my food secured in its own package but they put my food inside a Mel's diner, plastic carry bag I commend the way they seal the top of the bag. No one can get inside of your food and do anything to your food. I love how they package their food, and of course one of the best diners to eat from in town food is always on point my order is never wrong or missing. Any items or condiments are always there as well. Keep up the awesome job Mel's diner.  Chicken Tenderloin Strips

The Chicken Fried Steak was cut with a fork tender, the potatoes were tasty. Coffee was good Diner coffee, smooth and mild.

Reuben sandwich ice cold. Was laid on top of pickle so half of the bread was soggy from pickle juice. Missing 1 side salad and missing order of fries. Slice of berry pie tasted like it had been in the fridge for awhile. I wont order from here ever again. Overall very disappointing. **Door Dash d id refund for my salad and fries.
