Everything arrived hot and fresh. The chicken was perfectly cooked and crispy, the gravy absolutely delicious. The fried green tomatoes had good crisp breading with perfectly cooked tomato inside and the dipping sauces were great. My husband enjoyed the sweet potatoes, and I really liked the sauteed brussels sprouts. The deviled eggs were good too. This is the home cooked meal you don't have to cook yourself! This was my first time ordering from Root Cellar, and we will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I've had the Sterling Silver Ribeye via Door Dash and both times were delivered hot and perfect!!
Went with double order loaded potato and the off the chart cheese cake. My tastebuds are already starting to fap around in my mouth...yeah I wrote that!

My wife ordered the filet mignon for her New Year's Day lunch and I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken. Her steak was cooked the requested temperature and my chicken was very tender. Over several meals from the Root Cellar the quality has been exceptional.

Ordered through DoorDash for the first time while at work in Lex and it was phenomenal! First of all I love that they wrap the food in foil so it arrives hot. I had the chopped steak with loaded potato, collards and Mac and cheese. The steak was cooked perfect. It was all super good. The only constructive criticism I'd give is they need to season the collards more. They were under salted and really had no definitive taste. I like my collards with a bit of Southern kick. All in all I highly recommend this restaurant!

The chicken was so tender and juicy! It was the best and most delicious chicken I have had from a restaurant in a very long time! The green beans and sweet potato soufflé were good, but the chicken was phenomenal! The portion size was excellent and will allow me to indulge once more!
