What screams “American brasserie” more than a little gem Caesar, shrimp cocktail, and filet mignon? It’s not a trick question — it’s The Smith in a nutshell. The restaurant has gained a huge fan base …
Amazing food! Everything we've ordered from there is phenomenal. Love the rigatoni allá vodka, the gnocchi are perfect, and the desserts are all delicious! I love the grits!!

Somewhat ashamed that I got a Caesar salad that costed $37. The salmon was extremely medium which was not specified, the dressing is bland and the portion is laughable. Did not receive bread on the side as promised.

The Kale + quinoa is one of my favorite items for a light meal but the quality has gone down lately. Im disappointed with how little they are now giving you for a $17 salad. It should be advertised as a side if you're only giving customers this much salad. Very sad and hungry.

I've eaten at The Smith dozens of times. It is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Their Caesar salad is my favorite Caesar I've ever had. I was so excited to eat it in the comfort of my own home. I was extremely disappointed when, upon opening the bag, I noticed that there is about half the portion in the to-go order as their is when dining at the restaurant. However, the to-go order is more expensive: same price as in the restaurant plus taxes, delivery services and fees, and tip. This is a money grab. I will not order this again.

The Vodka Rigatoni was bland and oily. No silverware or napkins were included. Bread and butter was requested with the soup and salad....a 1/2 a piece of Italian bread was included. Caesar salad and tomato soup were delicious.
