The fish was hot and crispy. The hush puppies are amazing as well as the hand cut fries. The coldslaw was fresh. Tom's never disappoints.

Full Slab Dinner was very good. So tender the meat just fell off the bones. no sauce needed in my opinion.
Chicken Dinner (1/4) meat tasty but not as good as ribs. missing the mashed potatoes and gravy so that sucked.
Mesquite Smoked Baked Potato WOW! Its huge! onions were cut waaaay too big for a potato, but other than having to add tons of butter and at least twice as much sour cream it was good.
Red Beans & Rice Waaaay too spicy for me or anyone in my family so they went in the trash. Also, just so you know, they were VERY soupy. Like they deliberately made red beans and rice soup instead of a side of red beans and rice. Red beans and rice definitely should not be soupy. Maybe Tom's needs someone from the south to teach them how to make their most southern style of foods.
To conclude, we would come here for the ribs, chicken and the Mesquite Smoked Baked Potato but we would skip all the sides.

New favorite place! Brisket is absolutely delicious and worth the price! The fried pickles are on another level, super crunchy and flavorful!

The fish was cook perfectly. It was not over battered and greasy. Very good. The green beans were fresh beans and again cooked to perfection. The cornbread was not grainy but a li to soft like cake. For many that's a bonus since they give you honey. I did actually enjoy it. I will be ordering this again.

Both dinners were excellent fresh and hot would always recommend the fish was nice and crispy and the shrimp was very good. I would definitely recommend either or dishes.
