Tried the fried Deep fried California roll and it was soooooo good! Miso soup gives you a great amount for a cheap price and is very flavorful. Edamame was very fresh, I can only assume the garlic ones are even better!

I eat at Tsuru all the time - sometimes once or twice a week and at least twice a month in general. Normally, I pick my food up and so this is the first DoorDash order I've done with them and it was great. The food is always fresh and tastes so yummy. I order Ikura (Salmon Roe) and the Cherry Blossom roll and it is always made fresh to order and beautifully presented.

Portions for sashimi for the price were really overpriced, scallops were not fresh and were chewy, miso was best value and portion for price

Being new to San Leandro and a foodie of sorts, I'm very particular when it comes to quality sushi. Best sushi in San Leandro. Fresh. Flavorful. Well assembled. The double salmon and the Gioza were fabulous! There's a lot of subpar sushi places around here. This one is excellent!

I've been coming here for years. The food is absolutely delicious and the customer service excellent. I introduced my family and friends to this restaurant and they loved it as much as I. The atmosphere is very old world and quiet.
