Best Italian in the south western 'burbs. Literally everything we have ordered has been a hit, the fish is fresh, the pasta is flavorful, and the pizza is perfect!

Blackened filet panini was excellent, filet medallions were excellent, crab bisque was exceptional (pro tip: get some grilled shrimp to drop into it while it cools down a bit. It could honestly be its own entree!) and the zucchini frites never travel well (lose their crispiness), but the breading and that green goddess sauce are so good we just bust out forks and go to town.
Vai's is always a treat.

The pizza was great. The spaghetti bolo was superb. The Wild Mushroom Pappardelle was the highlight for us. Add the blackened chicken and pancetta. The garlic bread was rustic and flavorful!

The bolognese was alright. But the vodka pasta was bland. The meat slices on the side tasted bad...the donuts were really chewy. The cheesecake was fantastic. I was sorely disappointed because I had seen so many raving reviews about this place and their food. But it just was not good.

They didnt vent the plastic containers holding the food, they tied a plastic bag holding the containers. Everything was steamed (fries and burger). Burger tasted like something I could buy from jewel a butchers blend. I expected tastier for a thick steakhouse burger, better blend, etc. I never review restaurants. It's called a "prime" burger but if that implies prime meat? Nah
