Whenever we are in the area, we have it delivered to us (Thankfully!!) as we are unable to get into the city sometimes. We are from Vermont and do not have many (1) dedicated gluten free anything. So we are always on the search for good ones and Verveine is one of the best we have tried. Their Baguette is the best we have ever had, first had it at the Italian Restaurant in Boston and were hooked. Great crunch! Ordering two to take to Maine with us on our vacation. The truffle grilled cheese had a few small pieces of truffle on one side the other half had none.
The chicken parm which I have had in the past had same thing one half had chicken the other half had breading.
I shared these sandwiches with someone both I got the half with nothing. So disappointed as each sandwich was $20
It was so busy in there and I think that has affected the quality.

So special to be able to get gluten free bread delivered to your door from a local bakery, and not just "gluten free bread," but the best gf bread products I've ever had. Fantastic. Quick service, consistent every time. Perfect. Thank you!!

I love the glutten free concept and find their bbaguette a magical myster in terms of taste, texture, and presentation. all sandwiches I've tried are also good.
However, my recent purchase and as someone who loves sweet treats, I found their sweets extremely sugary for the sake of sugar for my taste and some an unpleasant texture. I'm of the belief that since it's glutten free, it's already a challenge. So, if it's not as good as your other winners, dont sale until you've perfected. Finally, the prices have escalated significantly higher than any other high-end quality bakery... sending the message that in oder to be healthy and safe, this is only accessible for a selected few privileged which is far from the truth...

Most things I've had from Verveine are truly great, but I do not like the MILK BREAD LOAF I purchased and found the HAM + CHEESE HANDPIE too rich and greasy. I'm most disappointed in the milk bread since I have an entire loaf to get through and it was expensive. It smells like milk bread, but does not have the flavor (was actually sour) or texture (very dense). I think I'll likely turn it into bread pudding or make French toast with it because I don't enjoy it as is.
