This is the real deal. The Fried Fish Sandwich was perfectly seasoned and the sauce on it is incredible. The Southern Poutine Fries are excellent as well. The Shrimp and Grits with Sausage tastes like it came out of mama's kitchen. My new favorite restaurant.

the Boneless Fried Chicken Meal was definitely good! the rice was a little undercooked and still hard. the Seafood Bisque had just the right spice. the French Fries were ok. I wasn't a fan of the Shawnti's Cheesy Spinach Crab Dip and Chips. it came in the smallest container and the cheese on top was hard.

I was really excited to try this food but when I got it I was so underwhelmed. The mash had way too much garlic and no salt. The gravy was like a cloudy broth with no flavor at all. The cabbage didn't have salt but it had tons of pepper. I loved the shrimp, so there's always that.

Outstanding food! Finally, a local restaurant with some variety in their menu. Delicious, home-cooked meals. Great apps (different than the standard apps at every other restaurant around here). If you're tired of the same old takeout/delivery, you won't be disappointed. There is a bit of heat to some of the dishes but it's subtle. Im pretty sensitive to heat but this didn't bother me at all. You won't be disappointed.
