First time trying this place. Wings and jalapeno bombs were good. Wings were very nice size and cooked with a slight crunch. I got the mild sauce and it was very flavorful. The bombs were excellent.
My only complaint and it is very minimal is the sauce seemed to just be poured in the to go container under the wings and not tossed on them. Will definitely give them another try.

The chicken was perfectly seasoned; crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. One standout detail: this restaurant does not fry chicken with fish or shrimp, which is a huge plus for those of us with shellfish allergies. Most places in the area don’t make that distinction, so this level of care really matters.
The Cajun seasoning on the chili? Next level. It added just the right kick without overpowering the dish. Everything I tried was amazing. Highly recommend for anyone who values flavor and allergy-conscious cooking.

A Los Angeles transplant’s honest take!
I ordered the whole chicken wings and a side of fried okra dusted with Cajun seasoning, and let me tell you, this place shocked me in the best way. After moving from Los Angeles to Alabama, I’ve been searching for that real Southern flavor, the kind that feels like somebody’s auntie is in the back with a cast‑iron skillet and a lifetime of technique. It’s been hard to find anything that tastes like the South I grew up knowing. But Wings R King in Homewood delivered.
🔥 The Wings
These whole wings are on another level, crispy skin, juicy meat, seasoned all the way through, not just on top. They taste like the kind of wings you only get from a place that’s been doing it right for years. Honestly, they’re the best wings I’ve had since leaving Los Angeles, and that’s saying something.
🌶️ The Fried Okra
Perfectly fried, not greasy, and the Cajun seasoning gives it that little kick that keeps you reaching back into the box. It tastes like somebody actually cared about the seasoning balance.

The only concern I have is for people with shrimp or shellfish allergies. Their seafood and chicken are fried in the same oil, which is a dangerous combination for anyone with allergies. The food is excellent, but this cross‑contamination risk is something customers need to know.

If you're looking for the ultimate wing experience, Four Wings Are King delivers on every level. I had the pleasure of trying their 8-piece whole wing combo, paired with Cajun chili cheese fries, and let me just say, it was an unforgettable meal.

While the flavor hit all the right notes, I found myself wishing for just a touch more crispiness to elevate them from excellent to transcendent. Still, these wings are a solid 10/10, showcasing the kind of quality that keeps you coming back for more.
The Cajun Chili Cheese Fries: These were, without a doubt, the star of the show. The Cajun seasoning added a delightful kick, while the chili and cheese sauce brought a satisfying, indulgent richness to every bite. That said, I couldn't help but imagine how sublime they'd be with a sharp cheddar cheese option—it would add a distinct creaminess and depth that sets it apart from the standard cheese sauce.
