Located in SoHo of New York City, YUBU is a casual Korean restaurant serving variety of Korean flavors.
One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite. I only do take out but you are able to sit down and eat. The staff is super friendly. The actual food itself is super yummy. Small but filling and inexpensive. Their specialty drinks are also great! Love the Strawberry Matcha Latte and any of their Ades. Honestly cant go wrong with anything here.

OVERALL - it's a decent option especially if it's for someone very hungry. More of a rice bowl/ poke. Don't expect the inari to be filled with the topping! It's filled with rice - as it should be!
DETAILS
SALMON options are very good and great value (compare it to a nigiri). However there is no apparent difference between the three once receives. Would be great bonus to have sort of sauce - even just a sweet soy sauce - as it gets pretty dry with the rice quantity.
TUNA The spicy tuna mayo is CANNED tuna - which iwas open to forgiving except frankly it's not good seasoning.
The MUSHROOM amount was really sad - amounted to less than one mushroom and you could see the rice through the flimsy layer.
SOUP Spicy Yubu Soup is REALLY tasty! I wish i could order double the broth amount.

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE store - I, heart to heart, encourage you to order. Seriously, everything is above and beyond. The sweetest workers/owner ever, the packaging always shows an impressive amount of care and genuine heartfelt consideration for the customer through hand written thank you's, extra condiments (uncharged hello!!?) and the best chupa-chup lollipops. Not only that, it's always perfectly neat and sturdy. The packaging itself is a wholesome experience alone. It makes you feel extra-cared for. The food doesn't dial down either - the toppings are incredibly flavorful, fresh, and generously placed, the rice is chewy, soft, and has the perfect balance of sweet, salty and sour, and every flavor has its own unique quirk of taste. I personally adore the salmon yubu - every time I've ordered it, I've enjoyed delicate, gentle flavors and soft yet chewy and refreshing textures of the salmon along with (obviously) the delicious yubu base. They're also at an incredible value, only $4 and they're fairly large and very filling (emotionally and physically)! Each order is an EXPERIENCE. I never do write reviews let alone such unusually long ones as this, so do truly consider trying some yourself! I'd be happy to share the joy if so. This store is an absolute gem and I truly hope that it gains the recognition it absolutely deserves.♡ ♡

Bibimbap Spicy Tuna Mayo was kind of a perfect lunch and I will have leftovers for later. Love the SacSac Grape Juice. And it comes with a little lollipop, which is cute.
