I rarely leave reviews, but feel compelled to. I had good memories of ZIKI from its first iteration, so I was excited to order when I saw it re-opened. Unfortunately, it was flat out bad. The Chicken Bowl was somehow both over-spiced and under-seasoned. Falafel Bites were burnt and terribly bland. Even the tzatziki was meh. Do not recommend.

I'm a sauce guy, and always get extra sides of sauce, but when I say this pork bowl had too much sauce, that's an understatement. It was basically like soup. The flavors were decent, but as soon as I started eating and the sauce mixed into everything, they were lost in an aggressive raw garlic flavor from the garlic sauce.
The tallow fries were superb and still crispy when they got to my house.

Always consistent, great portions, and one of the best no seed oils spots in Austin. Glad to have Ziki back.
