"Cheese Breadsticks are always amazing. Chefs Choice Sandwich is more like a dish than a sandwich lol. It is so wet sometimes you can't even tell there is bread though. "Definitely my favorite in Anna!"
"The Quesabirrias unfortunately were not what I expected. On the positive side, it was fresh, the portion size was generous, there was plenty of meat on all four tacos, and they definitely weren’t hold back on the rice and beans. The rice and beans were actually very good, and I appreciated the care put into the garnish packaging — a lot of places could take notes there.
That said, the birria itself was a major miss for me. The meat was painfully bland and lacked the depth and seasoning I expected. What really stood out was the tortillas. The photo advertised tortillas with that rich orange-red color you expect from broth-dipped quesabirrias — almost like a Doritos Locos taco shell — but what I received looked nothing like that. There was essentially no orange color at all. Instead, they looked like plain tortillas covered in crispy bits, and they lacked the flavor that usually comes from tortillas dipped in consommé.
The consommé itself was unfortunately worse: very thin, watered down, and extremely heavy on cinnamon to the point where it overwhelmed everything else instead of feeling balanced.
The cheese choice also threw me off. I was expecting something closer to Oaxaca or mozzarella, but the flavor came across much stronger and heavier than expected, which only exaggerated the imbalance of everything else.
I know this sounds harsh, but I’m saying it because I genuinely think there’s potential here. The portions and presentation showed effort. But truthfully, the experience was so disappointing that it completely overshadowed the other two dishes I ordered — I honestly don’t even have much to say about them because this one missed the mark that hard. I will never order this from them again."
