"Quality is nowhere close to back in the day. I tried them on a whim after about 8 yrs and was pretty disappointed. The fried rice barely had anything in it - 1/2 cup had 2 peas and 1 piece of egg. The "candied walnut" shrimp just had normal walnuts, they weren't candied and only had enough sauce to coat half of it. It wasn't super crispy either. The green beans were bland, I tasted no salt. The massaman and lettuce wraps also had almost no salt, I had to heavily dress it up and then it was OK. The goji berry soup was good although almost entirely noodles. And the crab ragoons were good.
I ended up chucking half of the food in the trash because it wasn't worth eating. Other chinese restaurants are much much better options. Unfortunately was super disappointing, it used to be so good."

"My first Chinese food since moving to Fuquay-Varina NC and I like it. I come from NYC, NJ, lived in AZ and FL (FL has really stepped up their game with pizza , all Italian, and Chinese. "Tsaocaa's secretly a fried chicken place because their fried chicken is actually SO GOOD!! I recommend the honey garlic 10 pc, super juicy and addicting. It's definitely Asian style fried chicken that you'd find in East-Asia as compared to Southern-USA style fried chicken, as the batter is lighter and the flavor is on the sweeter side. The fuzhounese 'premium' milk teas from tsaocaa also tastes identical to some of the best milk teas I've had in China, and the soup dumplings are pretty good, one of the best you'll find in Raleigh right now.
