"When I tell you this was absolutely incredible, please do not take it as a passing remark. This place hit every single spot. I eat clean every day of the week and once per week I have a meal that you could consider... well unhealthy I guess. This meal was oozing in unhealthy but in the best possible way! Every week I order my treat from a different place and most weeks I am left feeling like I made the wrong choice, regretting past me's decisions and wishing I had taken advantage of the opportunity. Well today, every mouthful from burgers anonymous was elite. Special mention to the Heisenburger (Double Patty) I halved it with my girlfriend and had half of her Arnold Slawzenegger Burger. Both were great but the Heisenburger (Double Patty) was just insane. Insane people. It was insane. Also special mention to the Hickory BBQ - OTS along with all the other dips too (I ordered them all and all were good). We all know without a good dips selection, the 5 star rating is unattainable. This was nothing short of excellent. The chips portion was huge and well salted. Perhaps a little cold but I'd put that down to the delivery driver who innocently got lost on his way to deliver. We can forgive that. The Southern Fried Chicken Tenders (4) were huge, chicken was fresh and really good. My only thought is that it would be even better if the batter wasn't as thick or potentially was more of a breaded texture but that's personal preference and the tenders were still excellent. Seriously, it takes a lot for me to give a 5 star rating but this one is undoubtedly the only choice I could have made. I probably won't order here again because this will be that memory of THAT meal that just hit the spot. The one you tell the grandkids about. The one that changed your life. Forever. "

"The Kafta Plate is so good! I enjoyed the warm kafta wrapped in aluminium foil and plenty of hummous! For an extra $5 I asked for and received DELICIOUS iceberg lettuce & greek salad on the side, instead of the pickles and the tabouli, but for me, that just SO made the meal. It was coarse and rubbery. The wrap doesn't have any sauce or pickles. It does have tomato slices but the slices were as thin as a gold leaf, you don't even taste it. It was full of lettuce, enough to make a small salad. I ordered it with hommos sauce, but there were none, neither in the wrap nor on the side. Not recommended at all. "Once again, Fat Fish in Annandale never fail to deliver the perfect burger, it is the best burger I have ever had. The Works Beef Burger is so fresh, the bun just falls apart. The pineapple makes it so juicy, the egg, bacon and the perfect real meat patty cooked to perfection with crispy ends, just so gooooooood, topped with yummy beetroot, tomato, onions, lettuce. It is huge and so delicious.
If you are also a fan of, Potato Scallops then you must try them, they are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, oh yum, so good and a good portion. They are also made from REAL potato not like some others who make it from powered mix. I will never buy Maccas again. I have ditched them forever.
What I like most about Fat Fish is, their consistency, you always know what you are going to get, which is good quality ingredients, huge portion size with lots of toppings, just a very tasty burger.

My last burger like that was from Wollongong over 5 years ago on one of our trips down the South Coast. I never thought I would ever have the same here in Sydney. It was just sooooooooooo good, heaps of toppings, the bun was so fresh it just fell apart trying to eat it, the tomato, lettuce, bacon, beef patty were crunchy and super fresh as was the egg, pineapple, beetroot. It was all 10/10. It was heaven on a bun! The potatoes scallops were also so very good. They were large in size, crunchy and soft inside. The delivery was super quick, I think within 10- 15 minutes , the delivery man was at my door. WOW, I am blown away. If you want a huge delicious burger with all the toppings and crunchy hot fluffy potato scallops, treat your self and try Fat Fish for your self.. They are my new GO TO Fish and Chip shop. "

My family and I, have had many superb meals from them, for over 6 years.
The food is always fresh, flavoursome and filling -what with the great portion sizes.
The calamari is always a winner, as is the Penne Boscaiola (we add chicken to this, sometimes). I find some pizza based places to be a bit hit and miss, or simply lacking in consistency.
That is definitely NOT the case, with The Charles'. The consistency, well, it is extremely consistent!
The staff are always friendly, & no disrespect to the host of this review, I generally prefer to order directly from the restaurant, so they have a better chance of surviving, & keep their quality of output, high.
The DD driver was swift & friendly, & delivered the food, hot.
Another great all round experience!
