They ordered all of their favorites, and everything tasted better than their previous favorite restaurant.
As always, my wife and I were extremely pleased with the speed the food came out and how delicious it ended up being.
The portion sizes were more than what I've come to expect from similar restaurants which is surprising given how tasty the food is at Bao Gogo.

"Paid extra since this storefront doesn't take DashPass and the meat portion is so small. The L4. Kung Pao Chicken was chopped up so small and it was a meal of mostly sauce and peanuts. Some chicken pieces were chopped smaller than the peanuts. This is the third time I've ordered and the meat has been a bit lacking--I figured it was just beef options so that's why I chose chicken. I'll get dinner to see how portions compare but may not get lunch here anymore."

"I’m a truck driver I make big orders whenever I’m in Atlanta and meal prep them. If you’re like me Shan City Spicy重庆辣子 is awesome but it doesn’t reheat well. Neither does the Crispy Beef with Hot Numbing Pepper川椒酥牛 . Again delicious fresh microwaved no good. Will keep looking for something that works for me this is my favorite Szechuan in the country right now. Nobody comes close. I’ve taken every other one I go to off the rotation. D rather get more re here and freeze or just not eat any. String Stir-Fried Green Beans干煸四季豆 had a weird taste this week. Reheated it was gone. So I don’t know what that was about. "I think this might be the second or third time I've felt compelled to leave a DoorDash review after thousands of orders.
I know you, my fine reader, are simply trying to decide where to eat. So I'll keep this short.
A month-ish ago, I ran into this restaurant while I was out running errands. I went inside to eat. I was decently impressed—good mix of Americanized Chinese food and semi-authentic Sichuan dishes.
I order the three pepper beef and soup dumplings. Both very good, definitely above average.
Weeks later, I order it on DoorDash. Again tonight. The photo speaks for itself. The last two times, the dish has been 75% onions. LITERALLY. The actual protein you order is less than 15% of the dish. I'm not exaggerating.
It's really disappointing how different the DoorDash experience was, almost like they're taking advantage of the fact that a customer cannot verbally complain in-person when they order online.
It's already terrible that they fill the entire dish with just onions, they don't even balance it with actual vegetables. The beef is a soggy light brown color, no sear or actual cook on the beef. Almost like it was boiled than grilled on a wok.
The actual dining experience in the restaurant was nothing like this. They actually put effort into the food.
And last but not least, the authentic Sichuan dish three pepper dish's signature ingredient is is Pao Jiao (泡椒) — Sichuan Pickled Chili Peppers that have a distinctly tangy and slightly sour flavor that elevates the dish. There's barely any, so it tastes nothing like the dish it's supposed to. It's literally just onions with a sprinkle of soggy beef with no sear."
