It was so crispy and fresh. There is a menu error where it says you get 3 tostones instead of 1 but based on the price I figured it was a typo. Tres Leches Cake was great. "It was difficult to find another good mexican restuarant. As soon as I set the bag down I knew there was grilled steak in there from the delicious aroma. I ordered from another restaurant recently and they used ground meat for the enchiladas. That left me traumatized. The steak was seasoned - bit salty - and I really enjoyed the salsa roja - it's the red one with mole, which is why I order it red. It was really good. They did charge me a little too much for requested lettuce and cilantro on the chicken tacos though, but it was all good (it needs it! "I haven't eaten at Applebees for a really long time. I was pleasantly surprised on most things, but not happy about 1 thing.
I got the 12 oz ribeye and it was very thin and flat. It definitely wasn't a 12 oz steak. For the price, that's just not cool. It also isn't as big as the one in their image.
However the mashed potatoes were good. The cheesy broccoli was so oversalted I couldn't eat it as is. I scraped off all the cheese, and it was still pretty salty.
I got the onions rings, which were delicious, though a little cold. But I understand that not all things in an order are done at the same time.
The maple pecan blondie and ice cream were delicious. I forgot how good it is!
Will I order again? Yes. But they need to stop the deception regarding their steak weights. Some people will always notice."
