"Overall, the food here was good, but a few things are worth mentioning. I've been eating Tom Yum soup for decades, and the base is always prepared in the same way. A hot and sour broth with button mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and cilantro. The Tom Yum soup here has a very good broth, but it's filled with vermicelli noodles, scallions, spinach and peanuts. Although it was very tasty, it was definitely not a classic Tom Yum, if that's what you're expecting.
We also had N5. Pad Kee Mao (Thai Spiced Noodle) and N2. Pad Thai. These were both solid choices, with the shrimp on the phad thai being plentiful and good quality. That said, we're used to 3 stars being medium hot, but here it's very spicey!! "

"We ordered the Hong Kong Family for 2. The Pork Wonton soup was the best Wonton I've had in years. Delicious dumpling. Broth was amazing. Lots of vegetables. I really liked the cashew chicken. Chicken was tender. Vegetables and cashews perfectly cooked and crunchy. Garlicky! A lot like a Kung Pao with cashews instead of peanuts and no black pepper. Sweet and sour pork had crunchy batter, tender pork, sauce has a lemony citrus flavor.

"I was really impressed. The Honey Walnut Prawns were bright and delicious, almost tangy, more than I could finish. The Deep Fried Garlic Chicken Wing were crispy on outside, moist and juicy on the inside, without being too greasy somehow. And the Szechuan Beef wasn't too spicy but really flavorful. "We've been ordering food from PC Restaurant the last seven years - the food is always freshly prepared and reliably very good. We always end up over-ordering because we like so many of their dishes. If anything, the food has gotten even better over time. The only thing we miss is that recently we haven't seen chow mein with crispy noodles.
The Hot & Sour Soup (Bowl) has the right balance of acidity and heat - a lot of restaurants seem to skimp on the vinegar, but PC's is great.
Their Almond Chicken is proper - served with almonds and a proper gravy with actual flavor.
The Salt & Pepper Pork Chop and the S&P squid are both excellent "

The Beef Chow Mein was plentiful, except very small amount of sliced Beef. Very little sauce. The flavor was ok, not exceptional. I ordered 1 star for spice, that was perfect."
