They were great, and i get black beans instead of meat in the chalupa and potatoes and chipotle sauce in the (soft) taco instead of meat (basically a spicy potato soft taco but big.) Both are a huge upgrade in taste and I'm not even a vegetarian. It's just way better and at least as filling if not more.
Anyway the new sauces are decent, so are the fries. The creamy jalapeno sauce reminded me of my old squad leader's ceviche."

"So the enchilada combo is as far as standard Mexican restaurant fair it goes EXCELLENT. being hungry. I also ordered a beef taco a la carte seeing that it cost $7.99 I expected a gigantic Taco. what I got instead was a regular sized crispy beef taco and I made the mistake of calling and complaining about the size BEFORE I BOTHERED TO TRY IT. apparently I'm like everywhere else. these guys hand make their tortillas. the fillings were exceptional. I expected to sort of standard ground beef and it was really delicious. in short, just like Mama taught me I should not have judged the book by his cover. however, pricey it was. it was delicious. the response I got when I called the restaurant was beyond professional. between the quality of the food and the quality of the service, they have now stolen me from ixtapa. thanks again,, Mazatlan Restaurant!!"
