The hushpuppies, okra, "slap em" sauce, and tarter sauce were also all 10/10. The slaw was very good but I prefer mine a tad sweeter... but slaw is just one of those "preference" things. Definitely wont hold it against them because it was still plenty edible.

The JUMBO PORK sandwich was really good, the pork was super tender, sauce was great. Just be advised that if you order a sandwich, they put Cole slaw on the sandwich. I'm not sure if there's an option to ask them to leave it off.

"The JUMBO PORK sandwich was great, but be advised they don't give you the slaw on the side unless you request it. Otherwise they cram it into the sandwich. I had to scrape it off, but live and learn, and the pork itself was delicious.
I also got the BEANS & CORNBREAD and both were way too salty for my taste. I assumed the beans were baked with molasses and they were more like very watery refried beans. I would probably not order them again. Even the corn muffins were salty!
So, weird lunch, but a lot of it was my error and the pork itself really was great."
