And finally, my $3.48 small Sprite was nothing more than carbonated water and it tasted horrible. I had to dump it. Talk about being ripped off! That’s inexcusable.
I’m not holding my breath that I will see a refund on my beverage but I won’t be ordering in the meantime. Will my review even be approved to be seen? We’ll see. "

I grew up eating the frozen pot pies from Banquet and much later the Marie Callender pies but the KFC is next level. I'd had it once before long ago and as I recall I was kind of underwhelmed, but not this time. The chunks of chicken were big and flavorful, the veggies well cooked and well proportioned, the gravy inside was delicious and my favorite part, the golden flaky crust was buttery and so good; absolute perfection.
There has always been something magical to me about the chicken at KFC, ever since I first had it back in the 1960's. It's gotten to be pretty pricey to order out food these days so if you're going to indulge, it only makes sense to turn to a place which has brought you joy. It was wonderful!"

"The "boneless bangus paksiw" (fish stew) that I got in my combo was definitely not boneless, so avoid that if fish bones are a problem for you. That said, the taste was on point! And the portion was generous - I ordered a Combination Plate with the chicken inasal and that fish stew, and I got close to a half chicken and (it looked like) most of the fish other than the head and collar. The Suman Sa Lihiya could easily be split between either two or four people. Definitely too much for one person to eat in one sitting. It comes with toppings/dippers of a brown sugar based sauce and some shredded coconut. This seemed to be the most "basic" flavor of suman from what I could tell, and I liked it, so I'll be trying other flavors.
The Lumpia Sariwa pictured here was fresh and seemed well executed. It turned out not to be a wow for me, but I could tell it was a matter of "I don't particularly care about this dish" rather than anything wrong.
Overall, as you can see there were some minor imperfections, but overall it was very worth it, and I will be trying more dishes here. This was my first time trying Filipino food, and I'm glad I picked this place. "
