"they immediately started preparing my order so I wasn't able to cancel when I immediately changed my mind, wanting something lighter that told me this was a steam table restaurant. so the food was already made and they just threw it in a container. that being said, it was still okay, I'd give it a b. don't expect anything to be crunchy though. broccoli was not overcooked and a seasoning was good, ingredients thing pretty good quality. chicken had a nice texture as did the mapo tofu"
"King pao chicken and Mapo tofu. It was ok, not great, not awful. Flavor was kind of bland. Salty.

"The Combo 紫米卡滋+豆漿紅茶 / Purple Crunchy Rice Burrito + Non-GMO Soy milk Black tea (30% Sweetness) has been my go to order for three years and I've never been disappointed. The donut is always fresh and crunchy and the floss is always generous. Spicy isn't too spicy but adds a nice light zing of heat."
"it's such a shame that this is the only place that makes this because they do such a bad job at it. the fried dough was stale that they over fried 3x over which became a hard brick, the rice is flavorless and the cost for a 5 inch burrito is not worth it."

"Grape Jasmine Milk Tea was just okay. The grape flavor was strong, but it overpowered the jasmine. Even at 0% sugar, it was still pretty sweet. I wish there were less-ice or no-ice options for delivery since all the ice had melted by arrival. Boba was a little firm, milk jelly was okay, and somehow everything together tasted like a Hong Kong-style red bean ice drink.
Mango Pomelo Sago was much better. 0% sugar with less ice was just right, and it tasted pretty authentic with generous toppings. Cheese foam was a nice addition. The sago was a little too soft though. I’d prefer it fresher and chewier."
"On this busy Friday evening, there were only two staff members. One of them was constantly moving back and forth in the back area, cutting fruit toppings, while only a little girl was actually making the milk tea.
Moreover, they were working in numerical order. However, when I tried to transfer to DoorDash via the website, there was no number prompt, and I almost missed it. Moreover, due to being busy, there simply wasn't enough boba, resulting in two cups without any boba.
The milk tea taste was quite good, especially the jasmine tea, which is always enjoyable every time. ·l"

their congee is always delicious, my favorite is Pork with Preserved Egg Porridge. they cook their Baby Bok Choy with Garlic Sauce to perfection. Beef & Egg with Rice is always perfectly silky and the meat tender. and Sweet & Sour Pork Chop always hits 🤤"
"I would say the portions were on the smaller side. Could have been because we ordered late right before closing but I figured $18 Chinese food would come with a decent amount . "Thru trail and error I've found what I like and it's been consistent in quality and quantity. Orange chicken is always hot and crispy and the chow mein is tasty. Occasionally ordered chicken teriyaki which is good but can be to sweet for me at times. But it's always tender. The only one I can definitely say to stay away from is the broccoli beef. The meat is tough and there's absolutely no
Flavor. I like both the egg and springs rolls, always nice and crispy. I like the cheese stuff wonton but unfortunately with delivery they get soft. So I only order when eating there. Oh and lastly I like the shrimp but you get much when it's delivered for some reason and when I ordered for dine in I made sure it was fresh. Because sometimes it's soggy."

"Favorite delivery dim sum by far! Consistent flavor, and also texture which is important to me. Sesame Ball 4 香脆芝麻球 (4) are amazing, and the hot Pork & Shrimp Sichuan Hot Chili Oil Wontons (12) 猪虾红油抄手 are little umami bombs without being overwhelmingly spicy. "Great food , great prices ! This place is my favorite spot for great Chinese ... the staff is always so friendly and attentive .... i havent had one dish that disappointed me the brocolli beef has alot of beef and brocolli I love their chow mein and fried rices . their Walnut Shrimp 核桃虾 is so tasty. Love this place ! Ive tried so many places and they are so disappointing . this place is very generous with their portions LOVE LOVE LOVE keep up the great food ! "
"Aside from the walnut shrimp, the food was very flavorful and did taste good . However the portions were very small for the cost, compared to other take out I have purchased. I bought food for my family of 3 (one of the three being a 1 year old) and had to order more food from a different restaurant even though I ordered 4 items. I was really looking forward to the walnut shrimp based on the photo (thats why I picked this restaurant, I have never been here before) but the shrimp was crispy and had the sauce in the container instead of already marinaded and there was barely enough to get all over the shrimp. Was pretty disappointed with that. But I will say everything else did taste pretty good "

"The pork gyoza is delicious. I do wish the description mentioned the purple cabbage because seeing it for the first time was a little shocking. The snap peas could be better. As opposed to being crunchy and "snap" peas they're overwhelmed by sauce and soft. Essentially 0 snap."
"I apparently am not a fan of dumplings. i tried the XLB Combo, was not able to eat it all. the dumplings did have juices inside which was something new to me. Why I couldn't finish it was due to the unique flaover of each one. As I have had dumplings and Kimchi where there was no juices inside. Sesame Balls were good, but came covered with oil. and were quite filling. I also tried their Edamame; it came well seasoned. If you cannot handle spicy things I would stay away. Edamame also was covered/cooked in oil which made it a bit messy."

"#758. Beef Chow Fun was delicious. I did request that they use a bit less oil when cooking it. Turned out perfectly. Egg Custard Tart was spot on. Flaky delicious crust. #766. Chef's Special Rice Vermicelli was a large portion. Nice mixture of meat and seafood."
"$12 Soy Sauce Chow Mein was ~6oz. Chive & Shrimp dumplings so stuck together they wrapper fell off. Delivery Door Dash, but doesn't excuse quality. Nah, not worth the $$."

"I got the 911 Braised E-Fu Noodle w/ Mushroom , and I'm honestly disappointed because there's literally a total of 7 mushrooms in this dish total, and I was hoping for more of a balance...there's so many noodles and nothing to eat them with really. :("

"Steam never disappoints! I always get their prawn and pea shoot dumplings, which are super delicious, and go from there. The pork dumplings are amazing, love the noodles, and they make a great cucumber salad!!"
"HK Pan Fried Noodle with Beef/Chicken/Seafood are legit! The beef is always tender and the sauce is so flavorful. The Wonton Soup is also delicious! The broth is well developed, no huge chunky veggies, and the won tons themselves are pretty good (though a bit too shrimpy but if that's your thing, win win!).
Steam is the quick stop version of Tai Pan which is the best Chinese food restaurant in the area so you really can't go wrong! It's a bit spendy but you get what you pay for."

"Really good chicken fried rice IF you specify "please use as little oil as possible, and no soy sauce". You can add soy sauce later (they add way too much for us).
It is generous on egg and good sized chicken pieces, also chicken is moist and tender as if roasted or rotisseried."
"Crab Meatball 蟹粉狮子头 - found a piece of hair. Didn't get to try it.
Shanghai Spring 上海腌笃鲜 - AMAZING
Scallion Tossed Noodle 葱油拌面 - AMAZING
Sweet & Sour Pork Rib 糖醋排骨 - tastes pretty good but couldn't find one piece of meat with just one regular long bone in it. Seems like it's just scraps.
Sweet & Sour Rock Cod 松鼠石斑 - favor is okay but the fish was too over cooked. Not tender and kinda hard to chew.
Dong Po Pork 东坡肉 - not too flavorful, super oily.
Shanghai Traditional Pork Bun (6 Pcs) 上海大肉包 - skin was thick and meat was packed really hard and not juicy.
Pan-Fried Bun 生煎包 - tastes alright.
