"Saag Paneer is always one of my fave staples and Shaan did not disappoint! In addition to my go-to, I decided to try out some new items too. The Malai Kofta was phenomenal, such a cozy meal! The vegetable balls in it were a great medium firm texture, a bit crumbly if you cut into it, and I think potato and cheese based. The sauce was smooth and creamy and just a touch tangy, perfect to go with naan or your choice of bread. This time I decided to go for the upgrade Chef-Naan and was not disappointed. It was huge, like literally one half was bigger than my head, and was worth the extra money! It was very balanced and filling on its own. All of the portions are huge and I will be having the best leftovers for days 😋"

"Second try on the Ulavacharu Guddu Biryani (Egg Special), I got the same spice level (hot) but seems much more mild than last time. Still unequivocally delicious bursts of flavor in every bite, so not a complaint. But I'm not British and I come for the heat, I want the spice. Ravi's used to be my favorite until they started toning down their spice level exponentially to the point it wasn't spicy at all, a disgusting waste of good food and unworthy of the price. Please don't pull a Ravi's and stay delicious. Godavari is now my #1 place, for good Indian flavor and heat, not to confused readers with that heavy cream stuff they serve at buffets and call curry,that stuff is more British than Indian."

But the chicken is still tender and you get plenty of it. The Paneer Bhatura is always good and fluffy. This time it was fried a little hard so not as fluffy but still had good flavor. Next time I would ask for it to have it fried soft. "
