"Benny's is always awesome every time I order! Always tender, always flavourful, beautifully smokey - but not overly so. A little shy with the pickles and onions, but other than that it's a winner!"
"Tried this place for the first time and ordered the Texas Trinity for 2 (Pre Set Platter) I wouldn't order the platter again - looks like we paid $11 more than just ordering the items individually.
We liked the brisket, ribs, beans and cornbread. Sausage ended being more of a hot Italian than cheddar jalapeño which wasn't our favourite. Ultimately ended up being disappointed in value for money - typically we get a platter hoping to have leftovers but the portion was pretty small.
Next time might try a sandwich instead or visit in person."

"I started to nyam off my plate and said "Let me catch one quick picture for a review."
I was starting to lose faith in the taste quality in ordering island food. Carib Dish changed my mind and became a favourite for myself and my teens. Oooo-weeee! My Curry Goat Roti was delish. Nice flavour to enjoy. Tasted great and close enough to my mama's. I also added my favourite dish growing up, Saltfish with Vegetables Meal and I was not disappointed. The portions are perfect sizes and it tasted fresh. Made with love for sure. My teens enjoyed this because they were silent. lol Not one peep. Thank you Carib Dish, you will see me order again."
"Really disappointed with this order. The Mac and cheese is bland and unseasoned, tastes like they just put Velveeta on some macaroni noodles. The plantain was very bare and thin slices. The 2 FOR 1 Small Jerk Chicken Meals was decent but VERY small. Even though it was 2 for 1, it felt overpriced. Would not order again."

"The food was flavourful. But... not nearly enough food for the amount it costs. The container was what usually considered a medium. For $27 it should have been large or at least put more food in the container. The plantain was soggy, smashed together and in pieces.

"The MANGO CHEESECAKE Bingsu/ 망고 치즈 케이크 빙수/ 芒果芝士蛋糕刨冰 was delicious! It was very well packaged in an insulated bag. It's a huge portion and exactly like shown in the pictures. The mango was super fresh and all the flavours went so well together. Highly recommend!"
"
I've been ordering from this place since the opening, and I've loved their bingsu for so long. However, the quality has unfortunately declined over time, and I think this order might be the last.
Ice cream (which is extra) was literally barely a tablespoon, and the bowl version that's meant for 2-3 ppl is now the size of their cup size for 1 person. There used to be cornflakes on the bottom, and now istg I counted ten flakes this time around (and the time before that was not much better). The absolute worst part was the injeolmi, which was ROCK HARD. If you don't have fresh ones, np just let me know and i can change my order or get a sub topping, but to still put them in the order?? Wow. Just wow.
Honestly makes me sad since this place was literally a favourite of mine. I'm hoping the in store portion/quality is better since their photos remain the same, but not sure I'll be stopping by to verify anytime soon. "

"Good prices, but I ordered a meal kit and there was no coleslaw. To be honest, I eat a lot of Jamaican food and it was not as tasty as I'm used to, the gravy could be thicker and not so watery. Also ordered the bananas and it was hard. Needed more cooking time. I wouldn't suggest the cook to try and improve those items and I'm sure they can do it. The chicken was well cooked and soft. "Finally, a good and reliable Caribbean restaurant near me! Chicken Roti is tasty and the Dalpuri is fresh. Portion size is very generous, I always have leftovers. Jerk 3 pc. Chicken has a nice and spicy marinade, but the pieces are small. Chicken Patty was delicious but sweet, I think I was given the veggie patty by mistake. Patty had a nice buttery crust. My only dislike is the pepper sauce, it is more vinegary than other restaurants. Can't waiter to order again! "
"Best caribbean good I have had in a LONG time ! Jerk Chicken was the bomb.com and I did not need to order the Extra Gravy because the rice and peas came with plenty! There was not enough Callaloo or Ackee & Saltfish to feed a single, human adult to meet your intake needs for one meal - the Ackee is so nominal, it can't possible amount to more than 3 grams of protein. "This is some of THE best food in the city, punch is sooooo good too. This would be 6 stars if it was just better value for portion size, it can get very very expensive just for a simple meal for one when in person you'd get more bang for your buck. Totally understand the difficult position kitchens are in right now and I wish I was able to support you with more regular Doordash orders. That mac pie!!"

"The food arrived piping hot! I used to eat here two years ago, and this was my very first order since returning to Toronto. Woojoobunsik has the best Tteokbokki in town! It was my first time trying the spicy chewy noodle, and it was really good.
