The whipped cream on the outside is airy and not very sweet (compliment), the cake is light and soft, the raspberry cream inside the roll adds a gentle tart kick that is delicate enough to not overpower the rest of the components but is just enough to add that much needed oomph. The cake itself is fairly large but because of the lightness of it, you might need more to satisfy someone with a crazy sweet tooth. My family of 4 turned this cake into past tense in one sitting, for example. Nonetheless, the quality of the cake will have us coming back for more!"

TheEarl Grey Pancakes especially werevery fluffy, and while we're not big fans of strawberry sauce in general, having it come on the siide by default made it so we didn't have to worry about it. My only complaint wouldd be that, like manny brunch places in tthe city, they don't use real maple syrup so we had to use our own, but the earl grey mascarpone definitely made up for it. It was just the right amount of sweet so you could get away with not using the syrup at all, it and balanced the cheese and earl grey flavour well. The Chicken Katsu Club Sandwich could use a bit more veggies in it, but the chicken was good, albeit a little heavy on the breading ratio, but they made up for it with the number of pieces it used. Will definitely be ordering from here again!"

"1. Poached eggs are miniature... slightly larger than a toonie. I have never seen eggs that small.
2. "Strawberry dream" was supposed to be strawberry sauce, strawberries, white chocolate and possibly another item I forgot (I phoned and asked because the description is not on the menu). There are 14 slices of strawberry. No sign of chocolate. A piece of paper was on top of the pancakes... much of the sauce is on that. The sauces should have been packaged separately.
3. The bottom of a pancake has burn dots all over it.
4. Tiny amount of Hollandaise for $4.00. Anything in a container this size should be less than $1.00.
5. Food is cold. Again, better packaging is required.
6. I paid extra for toast (one small slice for $3.00) and Hollandaise.
7. Overall, terrible value. Seems the restaurant staff take no pride in their work (although this could come from management).
