I was snowed in and craving some homemade egyptian food. Next thing you know I found this place. I couldn't believe it. Their Egyptian Hawawshy is so fresh and mouth wateringly delicious. This is normally Egyptian street food, but it's made in a different, unique and better way that feels more home made. The Hummus & Pita was freshly made and generous portions. I really cannot wait to try everything else on the menu. I'm so excited that there's a quality Egyptian restaurant here in New Haven (finally). I encourage everyone to try it. I'll be ordering from here regularly!

Amazing middle eastern food. The Egyptian Hawawshy is to die for. It's sorta becoming addictive. I decided to try the Baba Ganoush today. It was good, but I wouldn't necessarily call it fresh. However, it certainly wasn't bad. If there is only one criticism I have of this place--which can be easily improved--they need to bring their prices down. Their current prices are a little too high, and they won't be able to keep up with the competition in this economy. Unless of course they only have a short-term vision, and don't plan on staying open for long.

Looks nothing like the pictures at all. Very small portions. Not consistent with what is advertised
