• 19/5/22I'm sure I've wasted $46 on worse things in my life.... but I'm having a hard time thinking of what that is as I look at this trainwreck of a dinner.
Since the Ranch Nazis at It's Just Wings (aka It Has To Be Ranch, apparently) won't allow their captives.... I mean, guests.... to substitute out blue cheese for ranch,(like at literally every other wing place in America) I purchased additional servings of blue cheese to come with my meal. Each of my woefully underfilled ramekins contained watery, salty ranch. I'm assuming made with buttermilk and the tears of the dine-in guests as they search for their own missing blue cheeses.
Moving right along, 2 of 3 wing flavors were incorrect. Buffalo instead of honey chipotle on one... I'll admit the spiciest things I can handle in my mouth is my vocabulary, so this was noticable as my mouth is still a smoldering gash of flesh in the middle of my face. I'm barely able to see my screen through the smoke I think is still rolling off my tongue. The cute little baby boneless nuggets were sprinkled with disappointment and regret... I think.... but were supposed to be parmesan garlic. 🤷🏼♂️ Kudos for getting the right flavor on the extra crispy, sinewy, dry ranch rubbed bone-in chicken chews. My jawline is extra chiseled now after the two I ate/interacted with.
All that's fine.... because I got dessert. I *always* get dessert when I order takeout because even if the entrees don't quite hit the mark you can rely on dessert to save the day and leave a good taste in your mouth, right? Right!? I had every hope that the double chocolate handpies could and would salvage this disaster.... but... alas.... it looks like only the ¼ chocolate handpies were made today. That thin li'l strip of chocolate like food stuff just couldn't quite wipe the chip off my shoulder and bitterness out of my mouth.
So Thanks, It's Just Wings... or, as I'll be mentally referring to you now... It's Just Fowl. 🙃

• 9/1/26Was craving chicken wings, and have had good experiences at It's Just Wings in a different location, so it seemed to be the obvious choice. I got various flavors in the Bone-In Wings Combo. The flavors were fine, but man those wings were dry. It was one of those meals you keep eating because it's food and you're hungry, but not because it's good. I'm so disappointed.
They also give very few fries at this location.

• 28/9/25Ordered here a few times and the wings were the best in Goldsboro. This past time, the were over cooked to the point of jerky and there was no sauce on the wings. Ordered blue cheese and all I got was ranch. Not happy.

• 14/8/22I have now ordered twice from its just wings, and both orders have been terrible. 1st order was 16 wing combo , 1/2 in Santa Fe sauce and 1/2 Cajun. Wings were very overcooked and Santa Fe wings had very little sauce and fries were as to be expected from something sitting in styrofoam container . 2nd order was 16 Santa Fe wings with NO FRIES. Order shows up with fries.no big deal until I bite into a wing and it was a plain fried wing with NO SAUCE. had I not ordered EXTRA Santa Fe sauce on the side, I would not have had any sauce. I don't plan on ordering from them again.
