Chicas is one of my favorite restaurants in Deland because their food is phenomenal!! Their serving is big as well so the price is really worth it. I am a customer for life. I kept thinking about the Flan Cheesecake. The best dessert ever!!

Completely satisfied got way more food than I expected and for $15? The rice is cooked fully through thank god lol the steak could use a little more seasoning but very little.. would definitely recommend this to others

The TORREJAS BREAKFAST was okay. The veggie omelette that comes with it is supposed to have cheese, but I didn't notice any. The French toast was very good and I liked that they served it with strawberry and kiwi. The side of bacon that I paid $3 (one dollar per piece) was a joke. It was the thinnest bacon I have ever seen. The Caramel Mocha Cafe was great as usual.

The Ropa Vieja is so good that it literally made me teary! My husband and I have talked about our dinner for the last 24 hours. He had the Chrurroso steak, shrimp, and lobster). That's how amazing it was! This food is made with love, you can taste it. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

The amount of food you get is well worth the cost and flavor! The Havana Loaded Plantain Strips and the Ropa Vieja entrée were amazing(this coming from a Puerto Rican who has eaten traditional Cuban food from abuelitas straight off the island)! The quality was excellent on both orders. I am now very excited to stop by the cafe with friends and enjoy some more meals together.
