I've eaten at and ordered delivery from Laziz countless times, and always touted them as one of my favorite restaurants in all of SLC. Post-pandemic, I've been ordering takeout more, because they changed the flow in the restaurant and the experience was not near as good. The food has always been great ---
This time, however was so bad that it will take some serious convincing to order again.
They've changed their ordering so you can't ask for any substitutes, which made this time a challenge for myself and my daughter who are allergic to gluten and dairy (the ability to order incredible and safe foods was always a huge draw). We ended up ordering off the Whole 30 menu which is a set of pre-selected subs, but also takes away the options for allergy friendly sides.
I paid over $60 for dry romaine and 2.5oz of dry, overcooked salmon and a burger that was so dry and well done that it was completely inedible (oh,and more dry lettuce as a side) I've ordered both these things before multiple times (and had them delivered!!) and never was the food this gross and disappointing.

The tortilla was burned on my wrap, the fries had a soup of oil at the bottom and the hummus was so bland. I'm not sure what happened but Laziz use to be better than this. I will unfortunately not order from here again...

I love Mediterranean food and this is, by far, the best place I've had here in Utah. Vegetables are super fresh, everything was cooked perfectly! New favorite restaurant!

expensive but always delicious Kafta Mediterranean Platter and their Grape Leaves can't be beat great flavors
