I'm from California and came to visit. Ate at Brick House Tavern and it was the best food I've ever had. The chicken tenders, chicken and waffles, burgers and fish and fries are amazing. Every time I come to NJ I have to eat there before I leave

Food was delicious. I thought that mozzarella sticks were over priced but when I received them the value was in the size. They were the size of a Hostess Twinkie so well worth it I was full after eating so the burger was not tasted but their burgers are always spot on.

The chicken fried steak is my go to meal from Brick House. Always a nice portion size, crispy & cooked perfectly. However, I'm not sure if they've changed the steak that they use but this time that I ordered it was not crispy, much smaller in size and very chewy, even stringy. Very difficult to cut thorough. A little disappointed because we love Brick House.

I've been coming to brick house for over a decade now. It's always a solid choice. If you want to be wowed go with the chicken fried steak or the pork chops. The sandwiches and burgers are good but they are not the reason this place is so highly reviewed.
also the Mozzarella bricks seem expensive for 4 mozz sticks... they're worth it. They are giant, have actual flavor, and come with a zesty marinara.
If you go in store the atmosphere is actually confusing tbh. Couches for seats, but also the industrial ceiling, tvs everywhere but also a giant outdoor firepit, giant tables to be seated with other guests, but also pretty loud when you are trying to meet new people. it's like sports bar meets brewery meets family restaurant. it's a vibe.

Always the best food! Hot and tasty. We had a GREAT meal ! We think EVERYONE should try the food at this restaurant. The Mozzarella Bricks are Outstanding a MUST have when you go or order from here! ALL their food is good if not GREAT though!
