There is no better vegan burrito than the Scratch Burrito in the entire Portland metro area. I've tried them all. The flavor, ingredients and preparation are unmatched. Scratch truly reigns supreme. Get the side of chipotle aioli to add on top as you eat and you'll be in heaven.

I asked for a special customization on the steak burrito, and they made sure to accommodate! It was DELICIOUS. The only thing is that I wish I ordered a side of salsa for the steak burrito. (That's my bad, though.) The avocado toast was very tasty as well! Loved the cilantro and picked red onion.
Overall, great experience and yummy food! Would 100% recommend. :)

This place was a huge letdown for us. I got a chorizo Breakfast Burrito and my husband got a sausage Breakfast Burrito. They were large enough, but nothing about the filling was remarkable. Most of it tasted extremely burnt, and somehow the chorizo had very little flavor. Aso, the salsa verde they like to charge a dollar a cup for was also really flavorless. I can't believe they charged 16 bucks for these garbage burritos. I expected them to be huge, cooked well, and flavorful at that price. They were none of those. Avoid.

My first order, Sweet potato hash, was divine. I make something similar on a regular basis and this was just like it, only vegan. I could hardly tell the difference between my backyard chicken egg whites and their vegan tofu egg whites. I added their sausage for a little extra protein and flavor and it was yummy without a too strong salty/spicy flavor that you would get with pork sausage. I was worried about the poblano sauce as I cant do spicy, but it was just a light drizzle on top and added good flavor not heat.
I am trying to incorporate more plant based meals in my diet and this is a great way to do it. I am diabetic, and when I put this in my calculator, I estimated it to be somewhere around 300 to 400 cal (depending on the amou of oil used to sauté) and around 25g of healthy carbs. Of course, I don't have exact ingredients or measurements.
If you order without the dressing, it would qualify for Whole30 or AIP diets.
My only complaint is minor, I received napkins but no utensils. This time iwas at home so no big deal, but I often need them when I am at work and I requested them. This would not be fun to eat with my fingers.

I think the reviews are skewed towards it being good vegan alternatives to normal food versus standing on its own merits
The breakfast sandwich was gross. The bread, sauce and fake egg have a really odd flavor, it wasn't what I was expecting from a pretzel roll.
The Scratch Burrito was decent. If I was a vegan it would be a really good alternative to a breakfast burrito. Compared to normal burritos though it doesn't hold up - decent but strange textured sausage; the chorizo, tortilla and potato were actually solid - but the egg and sauce were funky and overpowered the other flavors
For vegans I would recommend the burrito and skipping the sandwich. For non-vegans I think pretty much any mexican joint would be better (and cheaper)
