How did I just now discover this gem tucked away less than 10 mins from me? My dish was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Braised Oxtails & Gravy that comes on a bed of rice with a side of extra rice and Candied Yams. 2 plantains came on the side.
The Oxtails were so tender and full of flavor. I can cry typing this lol. The plantains were delicious, moist, and sweet. The yams were also amazing. I promise I may reorder this for dinner tomorrow. All this food for the price was not expensive which is rare. It's a beautiful thing to have a great hearty meal thats not in the city.

I had the FIVE HERB ROASTED CHICKEN , CANDIED YAMS , SWEET POTATO CORNBREAD All of the food was great ! The portion size was good for the price and food fresh . My chicken breast could have been more juicy but I'd definitely order again and again ! The corn bread was so good !

I was expecting a little bit more for 31$. On the expensive end because of the three tiny oxtails and two larger size oxtail. It was not over seasoned.

My parents were highly satisfied with the meal this restaurant prepared for them on Mothers Day. The food was hot, flavorful and enjoyable. Also, everything but the chocolate molten cake was packaged nicely. They had two meals & two desserts delivered. Meal 1: southern fried catfish (excellent), with green beans (excellent) and mac & cheese (a bit dry but good). Meal 2: the vegetable plate with black eyed peas (excellent), plantains (excellent), greens (excellent) & added fried okra (excellent). The peach cobbler was amazing & the chocolate molten cake was great but lacked the chocolate sauce that makes it a molten cake. They were out of sweet potato cornbread so it was refunded. The food was delivered in a so-so timely manner - but we get it. It was Mother's Day and they were super busy and short staffed. A huge thanks to our delivery driver for doing a top tier job keeping us informed the entire time. They definitely recommended this place. 9.5/10
