homemade food! best banana cream pie I think I've ever had. sweet, salty, full banana flavour, handmade cream, flakey buttery thin crust melts. the cream puff is real!! not store bought or factory made!! real puff pastry the size of a child's hand filled with handmade cream. filling & melts. special fried rice is good portion size & balanced with veg, pork, egg, shrimp. Perogies are perfectly made. Cabbage rolls (mostly rice* +meat) are fair size. Sweet dinner buns melt in your mouth & are doughy. Ginger beef🌟 is probably the best part with good portion size, actually meat & not a bunch of fat, cartilage cheap stuff; breading is homemade, thin, crispy, not from frozen. Real ginger with sauce, onions, peppers are separate so meal isn't soggy. it all reheats great in the air fryer! just like fresh. Veriniki are well sized. Summa Zumma Borscht soup is aromatic, filling, well spiced, with mennonite sausage, potatoes, veg, cream & fresh dill.💯packaged. Tastes like the family prays 🙏🏼🤎

I was very impressed with my order. For the price I received value. Everything was hand made and flavourful. The coconut cream pie was spectacular. I'll be back and I highly recommend Taunte Maria's Restaurant.

Ginger beef was so over cooked you could barely chew it, Singapore noodles were dry and lacked flavor, Hot a Sour was so spicy and lacked ingre with no sour taste with very little tofu , meat, etc in in. Wouldnt order here again.

The ginger beef is my favourite, I love that the sauce comes separate so it's still crispy. The food is always hot and delicious.

Love love love this place! I discovered it randomly over a month ago and it never disappoints. portions are awesome and everything is always SO delicious. can't wait to eat here so I cam give my compliments in person.(my husband also loved the breakfast he ordered and he hates new places!)
