FRESHIES puts every establishment around the lake to SHAME. Every dish on this menu is top tier and worth every penny. If you're thinking about taking your honey to some overpriced 5-star joint, forgetaboutit and take them to Freshies instead.

Erik's Croquettes the "Magical Potato Balls"  slam with some basil salad dressing. Good Old Red's Country Style Pork Spare Ribs  and the Freshies Island Plate with jerk chicken are my all-time favorites.

My new favorite restaurant in SLT! Everything is gluten free unless specified otherwise, which is fabulous for me as I am celiac. The Coconut Prawns are delicious and the spicy sauce they come with is to die for! The portions are generous. The variety of meal choices is great. I've had the Fish 'N' Chips and they were crispy and flaky. They come with a slaw that has Asian flavors which was delish. The Tri-fries are great too!

The shrimp tacos had maybe 3 tiny shrimp, shredded cheddar, green cabbage, and a huge smear of some sort of mayo heavy sauce. Honestly they were not edible. The salad was bland. The teriyaki dish was very oily but had decent flavor. The edimame and the fries were fine. We won't be back.

For 18 dollars I would expect the to go box to be filled with salad. I think they added a cup of lettuce and 1/2 cup of chicken. The salad came dressed, which made everything super soggy.  Very disappointing.

They either packed the wrong item or my tri fries is a complete joke! There was maybe two sweet potato fries and no yam fries. I paid $10 for French fries that can’t even compete with McDonalds fries. Individual tacos were small, fish was tasty but “grilled shrimp” looked tiny defrosted Costco shrimp. Phil’s fabulous sando sandwich was mediocre.
