Baguettes in Old Elk Grove is a hidden gem I discovered during the pandemic. Paula, the owner, puts her heart and soul into the food, making everything from scratch. The smoked tri-tip sandwich on fresh ciabatta is outstanding, and the California Turkey Panini on handmade focaccia is a must-try. The chips, salsa, potato salad, and homemade soups like Zuppa Toscana are excellent sides. Paula's baked goods are irresistible, especially the lemon blueberry pound cake. The rustic charm of the place adds to the experience, and the IPA beers on tap or a glass of wine complement the brie cheese and Granny Smith apple sandwich. Baguettes is a refuge that warms both the stomach and the soul.

What an absolutely delicious place to stop for a bite to eat
Miss paula is alway on top of her game with lots of home made treats and of course her seasonal sides to accompany her amazing sandwiches.
The broccoli salad is my all time favorite
She makes her chips and salsa everyn house and they also are wonderful

The sandwich was absolutely disgusting. Paid $16 for a flavorless, dry piece chicken sandwich with hardly anything on it. The only good part about it was the bread. Will not be ordering sandwiches from here again. However the cookie was delicious!

The Zuppa Toscana
Soup was amazing I should have got the bigger tub. But the veggie sandwich was to mushy they should add some mushrooms and the hummus tasted odd to me. And the Avacado was brown and mushy not as ripe as I like especially on my veggie sandwich.
