The most amazing dinner in terms of taste & presentation! The best deal for a sampler dinner with generous portions - the spicy eggplant and the fall-off-the-bone tender short rib my favorites. Pad Thai, shrimp fried rice, blue sticky rice, all delicious. I loved the spiced kabocha fries too.

We have not been feeling well and were craving a healthy soup. Their Tom Yum is so wonderfully tart, spicy, and balanced... there are so many veggies in each bowl, I always feel like I am doing something good for my body when I eat it.

Love this place! The vegan fresh Vegan Fresh Rolls are amazing - the red sauce they come with is maybe my favorite sauce ever. The Samosa was pretty good but just a tad bit too spicy for me - but please note I have a very low spice tolerance so the same likely will not be true for most people. Somewhat pricy but definitely worth it if they're having a deal or discount going on.

I was excited to try Farmhouse Thai given the location in Berkeley’s Gourmet Ghetto, just steps from Chez Panisse, and the higher price point led me to expect something thoughtful and high quality. Unfortunately, the yellow curry was one of the most disappointing Thai dishes I’ve had in a long time.
The curry arrived with a thick layer of oil floating on top, to the point where it looked genuinely unhealthy. Even after mixing it together, it lacked the rich, creamy coconut texture and depth that a good yellow curry should have. Instead, it tasted watery and oddly unfinished, almost like loose spices stirred into liquid rather than a properly developed curry.
There were only a few scattered pieces of tofu, and the overall flavor felt more like an imitation of Thai food than the real thing. I stopped eating it halfway through because it simply wasn’t enjoyable.
Considering the premium pricing, this was especially disappointing. I’ve had far better, more authentic, and more satisfying yellow curry from much more modest Thai restaurants around the Bay Area.
