The good: The Torta Gallegos was absolutely delicious, great combination of flavors and textures, with a nice spicy pickled carrot salad as a side. The 5 Mini Tacos de Asada (you can choose all 5 taco meats individually) were true to what I have eaten in various locations both here in San Diego and in my youth in Mexico, and they were a good value based on food to cost ratio. The Rice and Beans were a great combination with each other, the Beans were seasoned well.
The bad: The "Extras" Chips that I got were described as having cheese and Guacamole with them, however I received no cheese or Guacamole.
Overall, I would ABSOLUTELY order from here again, I got a great amount of food for cost, and it was all delicious.

This food was overall really delicious!! The birria tacos were some of the best I've ever had. The consume was delicious and very flavorful. The burrito was pretty good as well wish there was salsa inside. They also included salsa and both were delicious. However the rice was below average. There was only a small portion of rice for almost $2, if I knew they were that small I wouldn't have ordered however it was not in the description. There was not much flavor unfortunately. Overall it was pretty good and would order eveythung but the rice again!!

quesabirrias were so good! Taste on point: the tortilla crisped to perfection. The consomé absolutely delicious. This is now my permanent go to for quesabirrias

My order was missing several items, beans were super runny, and carne asada 5 Mini Tacos were okay. Definitely had better elsewhere. They also gave me half a lime for 5 tacos

I frequent Gallegos once every other week. My go to dish is their shredded beef chimichanga with rice and beans. I also like their Supreme California burrito. My daughter likes their tacos. Great prices! Store is always clean, limited parking but there is street parking sometimes. I love their red and green hot sauce; very authentic and has so much flavor.
